How to enable the Hibernate option in Windows 7 and Vista

- Go to [Start] > [All Programs] > [Accessories]
- Then right click on the [Command Prompt] to select [Run as Administrator]
- Select [Continue] when the “User Access Control” window appears
- Then type the following command:
powercfg /hibernate on
- Finally [Reboot] your computer to reactivate the [Hibernate] function.
NOTE: You can use powercfg /hibernate off command to Turn Off the feature when needed.
