In DPM Administrator Console, click [Management] on the navigation bar.

On the [Agents] tab, in the display pane, select the name of the computer with the protection agent you want to disable.

In [DPM Administrator Console], click [Protection] on the navigation bar.

A [protection group] is a collection of data sources that share the same protection configuration. Data sources within a protection group are referred to as protection group members.
Prerequisites

In DPM Administrator Console, click [Management] on the navigation bar, and then click the [Disks] tab.

Select the disk that you want to be removed, and in the [Actions] pane, click [Remove].

Error ID: 326 normally appears when the server or computer which you wanted to be protected is already being protected by another DPM server or it has “DPM 2007 Agent coordinator” already installed. Check the followings,

 
Error ID: 308 appears when Firewall application blocks the DPM Agent traffic between the Host & the Client. If you’re using the Microsoft firewall or any other firewall application in your environment, you must allow the following TCP & UDP ports to allow the communication between DPM Host & Client.

Before you begin this exercise, if the Windows Firewall or any other Firewall SW is enabled on a server or a client computer that you want to protect or on the DPM server, you must allow series of TCP & UDP ports before you can install the DPM File Agent. Here are they,

In [DPM Administrator Console], on the navigation bar, click [Management], and then click the [Agents] tab. Now you’ll notice that panel scores have all set to 0 as nothing has been installed yet.

In the [Actions] pane, click [Update DPM Licenses].

Fundamental rule is that you must use a single license for each computer protected by the DPM.
There are three type of Agent licenses available in DPM.

Client Agent License: This applies per protected client computer basis. This License entitles you to protect data in the client computers operated with Windows XP & Windows Vista OS.
